Axiom is designed to collect and retain only the information needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service. Personal information is not sold and is not used for advertising, user profiling, or training machine-learning or AI models.

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirements and any higher minimum age required by applicable law to use the Service.

Information Collection and Use

Depending on which Axiom features you use or which features a Discord server administrator enables, Axiom may process information made available through Discord or provided directly through the Service. This can include Discord account and server identifiers, usernames or display names, roles and permissions, channel or message information, content you submit to Axiom, and message content where a specific enabled feature requires it.

This information is used only as necessary to provide requested bot and dashboard features, carry out server administration or moderation functions, prevent abuse, maintain security and reliability, provide support, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, processing is based as appropriate on providing the requested Service, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service and supporting server administration, or consent where consent is legally required.

Data Retention

Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Message content that must be retained temporarily for an enabled feature is kept for no more than 30 days and may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed. Other feature, configuration, moderation, security, and account-related information may be retained while it remains necessary for the relevant purpose and is deleted or anonymised when appropriate.

Third-Party Services

Axiom operates through Discord and may interact with optional third-party services when a server administrator enables a corresponding integration. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or advertising networks.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Some information may need to be retained where required by law or where necessary for security, moderation, the rights of others, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

We may need to verify that a request comes from the person connected to the relevant Discord account before acting on it.
